Sarbojanin Mahasangghadan Held at Rajban Vihara in Rangamati

Rangamati: The Universal Mahasangghadan, also known as Sarbojanin Mahasangghadan, and a special prayer ceremony took place at Rajban Vihara, a prominent Buddhist monastery in Rangamati district. The event, held this morning, was organized by the Universal Mahasangghadan Celebration Committee in collaboration with residents of Naniarchar upazila.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dipan Dewan, the BNP-nominated candidate for the Rangamati-299 constituency and assistant secretary for religious affairs of the party's national executive committee, attended the ceremony as an honoured devotee. The event saw the participation of Rajban Vihara's residential chief, Pragyalangkar Mahasthabir, along with monks from the monastery.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Celebration Committee President Pragati Chakma, former Naniarchar Upazila Vice-Chairman Rono Bikash Chakma, and several thousand devotees. Special prayers were conducted, focusing on the well-being, peace, and prosperity of all beings globally, the overall welfare of the area, and the removal of obstacles and misfortunes.
