Manikganj: A view-exchange meeting between Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nazmun Ara Sultana and journalists from local print and electronic media was held today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana presided over the meeting where local journalists attended along with Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas and General Secretary Shahanur Islam. The journalists requested the deputy commissioner’s cooperation in performing their duties.
In response, the Deputy Commissioner assured them of all possible support to the media personnel. Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana also mentioned that she would take necessary steps to ease traffic congestion in the district town, prevent food adulteration, and clear illegal encroachments from the canals in the area.
