BKSP and Tripax Ink Agreement for Solar Power Installation

Savar: Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) signed a solar power installation agreement with Tripax Company held at BKSP, Savar today. BKSP Director General Brigadier General Md. Munirul Islam and Tripax Company proprietor Iftekhar Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the agreement outlines Tripax’s responsibility to install a total of 600 kW Rooftop Solar System (Opex Model) across five regional training centers of BKSP located in Dinajpur, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, and Cox’s Bazar. This initiative will be implemented under the Net Metering Policy-2025 formulated by the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA).



The Director General emphasized the importance of solar power as a primary source of affordable and renewable energy, which significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions. The shift to solar energy will also lessen dependence on traditional electricity systems, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable environment.



The use of solar power is expected to decrease reliance on fossil fuels, marking a significant step towards building a pollution-free, sustainable, and environmentally friendly society. The Director General considers this move as timely and essential for future environmental sustainability.
