Dhaka: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves have reached US$ 31.89 billion.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the latest data from the Bangladesh Bank, released today, indicates a different figure when calculated using the International Monetary Fund (IMF) methodology. Under the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6), the reserves are reported to be $27.22 billion.
