Dhaka: Dr. Zubaida Rahman, a physician and daughter-in-law of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, has once again visited Evercare Hospital in Dhaka to check on the health of the ailing former prime minister. BNP Media Cell member Atiqur Rahman Rumon informed journalists that Zubaida arrived at the hospital around 11:30 am on Sunday.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zubaida Rahman traveled to Dhaka from London last Friday and went directly to the hospital upon her arrival to visit her mother-in-law. Since then, she has been shuttling between her parental home and the hospital. Although she spends the night at the family residence, Zubaida has maintained constant communication with the physicians in the Critical Care Unit (CCU). She is currently staying beside Begum Khaleda Zia in the CCU.

Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital since November 23 following a deterioration in her health. Her treatment is being managed by a specialist medical board headed by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder, with Dr. Zubaida Rahman as a member. Zubaida has been actively involved in coordinating her mother-in-law's treatment and participated in a medical board meeting that commenced at 12 pm on Sunday. Tarique Rahman, Khaleda Zia's son, joined the meeting virtually from London, with specialist physicians from the United States also contributing to the discussions.
