Chuadanga: Housing and Public Works adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today visited the grave of martyred Shahriar Shuvo, who was killed during last year's student-people uprising. The adviser offered prayers at the grave located at Shankar Chandra village in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, seeking salvation for the departed soul.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shuvo's father, Abu Sayeed, along with the Deputy Commissioner of Chuadanga, Mohammad Kamal Hossain, senior officials, and family members of the martyr, were present during the visit. Adilur Rahman Khan engaged in a conversation with Shahriar Shuvo's father to inquire about the well-being of his family.
Additionally, the adviser instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Chuadanga to expedite the disbursement of government assistance allocated for the martyr's family. Shahriar Shuvo was shot on July 19, 2024, in Dhaka's Mirpur area and succumbed to his injuries on July 23 while receiving treatment at the Neuroscience Hospital.
