Chattogram: A discussion meeting on 'Free mass media and future challenges' under the auspices of Chattogram Press Club (CPC) will be held tomorrow (Sunday). The event is scheduled to begin at 3 pm at S Rahman Hall of the CPC.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting will feature Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Mahbub Morshed as the chief guest. Vice Chancellor of Premier University, Chattogram, Prof S M Nasrul Quadir, will serve as a special guest.
Prof. Shahidul Haque, Associate Professor of the Communication and Journalism department of Chattogram University (CU), will speak as the chief discussant. Prof Ali R Raji from the same department will present the concept paper.
Academics and professional leaders, including CPC Member Secretary Zahidul Karim Kachi, President of Chattogram District Bar Association Advocate Abdus Satter, and Assistant Professor of CU Communication and Journalism department Saima Alam, will participate in the discussion. Additionally, Ctg Divisional President of AEB Eng. Selim Md Jane Alam will be part of the event.
