Lakshmipur: BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie today stated that, unlike previous polls, the upcoming national election will be held against an invisible force. The BNP leader made this remark as the chief guest during a brief rally before a mass procession in the Rajibpur area of Lakshmipur Municipality this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Annie, who is also the District BNP Convener and the party's candidate for Lakshmipur-3 (Sadar) constituency, emphasized the directive from the BNP to engage with voters directly by going door to door. This strategy aims to strengthen the party's presence and outreach ahead of the elections.
Annie highlighted the international respect held for Begum Khaleda Zia, noting that governments from various countries are concerned about her health, actively inquiring and offering medical support. This attention underscores her influence and the importance of her leadership on a global stage.
Expressing gratitude towards Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Annie remarked on the government's recent actions honoring Begum Khaleda Zia, which has been a significant acknowledgment for the party.
The event was attended by notable figures including District BNP Member Secretary Sahabuddin Sabu, Bangladesh Football Federation Vice-President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury, Lakshmipur Poura BNP President Rezaul Karim Liton, and District Mohila Dal General Secretary Fatema Akhter Sumi Bhuiyan.
