Dhaka: Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB)'s Senior Nayeb-e-Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim visited BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital this afternoon to inquire about her health condition. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with BNP leaders who were present at the hospital and received updates from the attending physicians regarding Khaleda Zia's latest medical status.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mufti Faizul Karim offered prayers for Khaleda Zia, wishing her a swift recovery and a long life. He stated, "Khaleda Zia is a veteran and experienced political leader. The nation needs her presence in this critical period," thereby expressing solidarity with BNP leaders, activists, and her family on behalf of IAB.
Accompanying Mufti Faizul Karim were the party's Senior Joint Secretary General and spokesperson Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman, along with Joint Secretary General Maulana Sheikh Fazle Bari Masud.
