Cox's bazar: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member Under-19 Women's squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Pakistan. The series is scheduled to take place at the Cox's Bazar Academy Ground from December 3 to 12. Sadia Islam will lead the side for the first time in this series. All five matches will be played on December 3, 5, 7, 10, and 12.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Pakistan squad has been in intense practice after arriving in Cox's Bazar on November 30. They will depart on December 13, a day after the final game. The series is vital for Bangladesh's preparation for the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2027, which Bangladesh will co-host with Nepal.
The Bangladesh squad includes Sumaiya Akther Suborna (Wk), Aritry Mondol Nirjona, Sadia Islam (Captain), Mst Farjana Easmin, Mymuna Naher Shornamoni, Rumana Ahmed, Sadia Akter, Habiba Islam Pinky, Otoshi Mojumder, Jarin Tasnem Labonno, Lamiya Mreda, Achena Jannat Emanta (Wk), Mst Sadiya Nusrat, Mst Boby Khatun, and Kumari Sraboni Rani Shil. The standby players are Chowdhury Oddrita Nowaisir, Mst Lima Khatun, Akhi Akter, Rizvy Das, and Mst Jim Afrin.
The Pakistan squad consists of Barirah Saif, Fizza Fiaz, Raahima Syed, Memoona Khalid, Eman Naseer (Captain), Rozina Akram, Areesha Ansari, Komal Khan, Ravail Farhan, Aqsa Habib, Shahar Bano, Mahnoor Zeb, Ayesha Riaz, Zoofishan Ayyaz, and Aleesa Mukhtiar.
