Lohagara: A motorcyclist lost his life when a truck collided with his motorcycle on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway in Lohagara upazila around midnight on Monday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased was identified as Mohammad Hasan Riyad, aged 28, who was a resident of the upazila. The incident was confirmed by Dohazari Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman. He reported that the motorcyclist was thrown onto the road following the collision and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Local residents were the first to recover his body.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was returned to the family.
