Prayer Held for Recovery of Khaleda Zia in Dinajpur

Dinajpur: A special prayer was held in the district town for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The event was organized at the Bandhan Community Center around 10:30 pm on Saturday, under the joint initiative of the district BNP and Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the doa and munajat were conducted by district BNP president Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal. Prior to the prayers, an introductory meeting of the Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad district committee was held, during which prayers for Begum Zia's recovery were also offered.

The meeting was presided over by Shamsul Alam Chowdhury Bablu, district president of Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad, with Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal serving as the chief guest. District BNP general secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi attended as the special guest.

Other notable attendees included district BNP vice president Mahbub Ahmed, Akhtaruzzaman Jewel, Hasanuzzaman Ujjwal, joint general secretary Mohiuddin Mondol, organizing secretary Anisur Rahman Badsha, publicity secretary Babu Chowdhury, Municipal BNP president Ziaur Rahman Zia, District Weavers' Party president Rezaul Islam, general secretary Hasinur Rahman Hasu Khan, and Municipal Weavers' Party general secretary Mehedi Hasan Sharif. A large number of leaders and activists from the district and municipal BNP and allied organizations were also present at the event.
