Dhaka: President Mohammad Shahabuddin has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health condition of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. In a message issued today, the President urged the countrymen to pray for her speedy recovery.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, President Shahabuddin conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the early recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia during this crucial time in the country's democratic transition. He emphasized his prayers to Almighty Allah for her good health and called upon the citizens to keep her in their prayers.
Begum Khaleda Zia is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital.
