Dhaka: Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), a leading organisation in journalism training and research, will recruit its manpower and it has published a new advertisement to this end. Male and female candidates, who are willing to build a long-term career in the media and communication sector, can apply for various positions.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the PIB is offering a total of 38 recruitment opportunities across 26 different positions. The available posts include Director (Research and Information), Assistant Editor, Professor or Lecturer, Researcher, Lecturer, Executive Officer, Reporter, and Office Assistant/Computer Typist. These roles are open to both male and female applicants who meet the required qualifications and experience levels.
Most positions require candidates to hold a Masters or Postgraduate degree along with a few years of relevant experience. However, for the posts of Computer Typist and Office Assistant, candidates need to have completed Higher Secondary or an equivalent level of education, along with possessing computer skills.
The PIB offers a comprehensive salary package that includes salary, allowances, festival and medical allowances, house rent, training facilities, and pension benefits, all in accordance with the national pay scale.
