Dhaka: Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) today nominated 545 candidates from the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) for appointment in non-cadre jobs in different government services. BPSC officials stated that these job seekers had participated in the 45th BCS examination, successfully passing both the written and viva voce stages, yet did not qualify for the limited cadre posts available in the competitive exam.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BPSC released the results of the 45th BCS viva voce yesterday, nominating 1,807 candidates for various cadre jobs and 545 for non-cadre positions today. BPSC spokesman SM Motiur Rahman informed BSS about these developments. The officials highlighted that the 545 candidates were recommended for appointment as first class gazetted officers, based on their merit and relevant educational qualifications, under the Non-Cadre Appointment (Special) Rules, 2023.
Rahman further mentioned that the written examination results for the 46th BCS might be published tonight.
