Dhaka: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued a directive prohibiting the publication of defamatory content about its judges. This comes in response to the distortion and negative portrayal of the judges' pictures, information, comments, and statements across various media platforms.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ICT has mandated that any content deemed derogatory or insulting towards the tribunal and its judges must not be published in print, electronic, or online news portals. Additionally, any such content already published should be promptly removed. The tribunal has further instructed that preventive measures be implemented to avoid future dissemination of similar content.

The directive underscores the importance of maintaining the integrity and respect of the tribunal and its judges in media representations.
