Al Amin’s Century Helps Mymensingh Secure Draw Against Khulna

Khulna: The match between Mymensingh and Khulna concluded in a draw as Al Amin Hossain scored a century during the fifth round of the 27th National Cricket League (NCL) at the Khulna Divisional Stadium.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mymensingh resumed Day 4 at 387-7 and declared their innings at 459-8 after Al Amin Hossain reached his century. Al Amin remained unbeaten with a score of 102 off 191 balls, hitting 10 fours and one six. Arif Ahmed, the other overnight batter, contributed 81 runs before being dismissed.

Khulna, in their second innings, reached 140-4. Soumya Sarkar scored 44 while Afif Hossain remained not out on 38. Earlier in the match, Soumya Sarkar had scored 186 for Khulna in the first innings.

Despite the draw, Khulna maintained their position at second on the league table with two wins, two draws, and one defeat. Mymensingh's fourth draw in five matches elevated them to fourth position in the points table.
