Rangpur: Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid is set to arrive in Rangpur on a one-day visit on Tuesday. The Adviser will participate in significant events aimed at addressing the protection of women and children.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Adviser will serve as the chief guest at a programme titled 'Protection of Women and Children, Government in the Line of the People'. This event will take place at the Rangpur Medical College auditorium at 3:30 pm. The programme is expected to focus on key issues related to the welfare and protection of women and children in the region.
Following this, Sharmeen S Murshid will also attend a view-sharing meeting with officials and beneficiaries of the 'Child Sensitive Social Protection in Bangladesh (CSPB) Phase II' at the same venue. This meeting, scheduled for 4:30 pm, will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the impact and progression of the CSPB initiative.
The Adviser is scheduled to depart from Saidpur Airport for Dhaka at 8:35 pm on the same day, as stated in the press release.
