Dhaka: Director Md Mahbubur Rahman today announced that members of the Ansar and VDP are prepared to execute their duties in the forthcoming national parliamentary elections with neutrality and peace.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rahman shared these remarks during the award distribution ceremony following the Upazila Ansar basic training at the Feni District Ansar VDP training center. He expressed optimism that the Ansar force's reputation would be bolstered by their effective performance in the upcoming elections.

Rahman highlighted the significance of this election, describing it as more challenging for the Ansar than previous ones. He noted that the government is actively engaging in training and skill development for the young generation, including educated, unemployed, and enterprising youth, through various technical training such as computers, sewing, and weapons. This initiative aims to make them self-reliant.

He further elaborated that the Ansar force will utilize software to monitor polling centers nationwide during the elections. In the event of any disturbances, law enforcement agencies will be promptly deployed to the affected centers. The software will facilitate communication by sending messages to the concerned deputy commissioner, upazila nirbahi officer, or the designated returning officer.

The event was also attended by Feni District Ansar Commandant Md. Helan Uddan and District Adjutant Bibi Kulsum, with awards distributed to 1,500 trainees.
