Baghdad: The Kurdish militant PKK announced that its forces have withdrawn from a key border area in northern Iraq. This move is aimed at supporting the peace process with Turkey.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the group released a statement on Monday confirming that as of the evening of November 16, their forces had been withdrawn from the Zap region. The PKK described this action as a "significant practical contribution" to the ongoing efforts to reset ties with Ankara.
