Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 14 people during an anti-crime campaign in the Mohammadpur area. The police have produced the arrestees before a court.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrested individuals are Fahism, 23; Palash, 22; Russel, 28; Obaidul, 33; Alamgir, 38; Sakir Hossain, 31; Golam Hossain, 45; Badal, 58; Shyamoli Begum Sathi, 27; Mobarak, 31; Ranvir Ahmed Sabbir, 22; Anik, 33; Niamat Ullah, 25; and Imon alias Anil, 25.
The release added that police recovered 200 grams of marijuana and two bottles of foreign-made liquor during the drive.
