Rajendrapur: The 45th Annual Commanders' Conference 2025 of the Army Ordnance Corps was held at the Ordnance Center and School (OC and S) in Rajendrapur Cantonment in Gazipur district today. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman was present at the conference as the chief guest, said a release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, when General Waker-Uz-Zaman arrived at the venue, he was received by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC), GOC and Area Commander Logistics Area, Commandant, BOF and Commandant, OC and S. During his speech, the Chief of Army Staff highlighted the Corps' glorious tradition and its contribution to the service of the nation.
The Army Chief urged all members of the Army Ordnance Corps to be prepared to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. He emphasized the importance of acquiring modern capabilities through dedicated and professional training. Furthermore, he discussed various issues such as technical development, research, and professional skill enhancement during an exchange of views with the officers.
The conference was attended by the GOC, ARTDOC, GOC and Area Commander Logistics Area, Commandant, BOF, AG, senior officers of the Army Headquarters, Commandant, OC and S, commanders of all units of the Army Ordnance Corps of the Bangladesh Army, and media persons, among others.
