Turkish Military Cargo Plane Crashes on Georgia-Azerbaijan Border

Tbilisi: A Turkish military cargo plane has crashed on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan as it was returning to Turkey, the country's defence ministry announced on Tuesday. The crash involved a C-130 aircraft, and a search and rescue operation is currently underway. The ministry did not provide details on potential casualties or the number of individuals on board.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Georgia's interior ministry has confirmed the incident, stating that the Turkish military aircraft went down approximately five kilometres from the Georgian state border with Azerbaijan. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the crash and gather further information on the situation.
