Dhaka: As part of the promotion of the upcoming 13th Parliamentary Election, the government today released the second teaser of the national polls 2026. Chief Adviser’s Press Wing released the 1:09 minute teaser tonight.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the teaser features Nurul Islam, father of Felani Khatun, who was killed by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF). In the video, he shares his frustration over the lack of justice for his daughter’s death. Nurul Islam expressed his disappointment, stating, ‘How could I get justice? Instead, our government spoke on India’s behalf. As at that time our government in Bangladesh was the Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina, they spoke for India. We don’t want a government like that anymore.’
Nurul Islam further emphasized the need for a government that represents the people’s interests and has the courage to demand justice. He urged the citizens to participate in the upcoming February national election, saying, ‘We will cast our votes and reclaim our power. Who will win in this election? Bangladesh will win.’
The teaser concludes with a call to action, encouraging voters to make their voices heard in the February national election. The message reads, ‘Vote in the February national election to decide what kind of Bangladesh you want to see. Remember – this time, the key to the country is in your hands.’
