Dhaka: Six more matches in the Polar Ice Cream School Handball competition were concluded on the third day at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium. The matches included three from the boys’ division and three from the girls’ division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in the boys’ division, Sunnydale emerged victorious against Dhaka Govt Muslim High School with a score of 26-14, having led the first half 13-7. Narida Govt High School triumphed over Motijheel Ideal School and College with a scoreline of 33-22, after dominating the first half 17-10. The match between Saint Gregory School and College and Nirjhar Cantonment Public School and College concluded in an 18-18 draw.
In the girls’ division, Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar Girls School defeated Wills Little Flower School 20-01, leading the first half 13-1. Viqarunnisa Noon School overwhelmed South Point School with a score of 46-02, after leading 20-0 in the first half. Sunnydale outperformed Sher-e-Bangla Girls’ College with a decisive 39-03 victory, having dominated the first half 21-2.
