Mahaharinam Ritual Promotes Communal Harmony in Ragurampur

Madaripur: The Mahaharinam ritual, a significant event for the Hindu community, took place in the Ragurampur area of Chilarchar union under Sadar upazila. This gathering was graced by the presence of Helen Jerin Khan, a former member of parliament and sub-assistant secretary of education affairs of the BNP national executive committee.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Helen Jerin Khan emphasized that the event, organized by the local Hindu community, serves as a beacon for spreading messages of harmony, peace, and unity. She highlighted Bangladesh's standing as a role model for communal harmony, asserting that a peaceful society can be cultivated through increased mutual respect and love among diverse communities.

Following the ritual, Helen Jerin engaged with local residents, discussing the aspirations and needs of the community. She reaffirmed her dedication to fostering the overall development of the area. The local populace expressed their appreciation for her visit and showed their support for the political symbol of the sheaf of paddy, as noted on the Facebook page of the BNP media cell.
