Dhaka: Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan is set to depart from Dhaka tonight for a five-day visit to China. He will participate in the 4th General Assembly of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) and the ANSO General Conference on Science and Innovation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, Professor Ahsan will engage in three seminars focused on pivotal topics such as 'Science for Sustainable Development', 'AI Development and Governance', and 'Capacity Building and Higher Education Cooperation in STEM'. The Vice-Chancellor's itinerary in China spans from October 27 to October 31, with his return to Bangladesh scheduled for November 1, as confirmed by the release.
