Kampala: Two buses collided on a major motorway in Uganda early on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 63 people and injuring several others, police reported Wednesday. The tragic incident unfolded on the Kampala-Gulu highway just after midnight.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the collision occurred when the two buses "met head-on during the overtaking manoeuvres," as detailed in a statement released by the police on X. The statement further revealed that all the occupants of the involved vehicles perished in the accident, while numerous others sustained injuries.
