Panchagarh: A youth lost his life and two others were injured in a road accident at Boalmari of Shalbahan union under Tetulia upazila of the district last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased, Tausif Khan Musa, 22, was a resident of Dargashing village under Tironihat union of the upazila. He was a student at Panchagarh Maqbular Rahman Government College. The incident occurred when a truck collided with a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction, resulting in injuries to all three people on the motorcycle, as reported by Debashish Roy, Officer-in-Charge of Tentulia Highway Police.
Musa was immediately transported to Tentulia Hospital, where he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor, according to the Officer-in-Charge. The two other injured individuals were taken to the upazila health complex for treatment.
