Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted the likelihood of rain or thundershowers in certain regions of the country. The affected areas include one or two locations within the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, with the weather conditions expected to persist over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD issued a bulletin this morning indicating that while rain or thundershowers may occur in the specified divisions, the rest of the country is expected to experience mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies. The bulletin also noted that both day and night temperatures across the country are anticipated to remain nearly unchanged.
On a related note, the highest temperature recorded on Saturday was 36.0 degrees Celsius in Sylhet. In contrast, Tetulia experienced the lowest temperature today, registering at 22.4 degrees Celsius. Additionally, residents of Dhaka can expect the sun to set at 5:30 pm today and rise again at 5:58 am tomorrow.
