Rajshahi: A total of 54 students with disabilities appeared in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations under the Rajshahi Education Board. Of them, 39 passed, and 5 students secured GPA-5.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the information was disclosed by the Chairman of Rajshahi Education Board, Professor ANM Mofakhkharul Islam, during a press conference held at the board’s conference room. In addition to the students with disabilities, 6 students from various prisons participated in the exams, with 3 of them passing.
Professor Islam further noted that the overall pass rate under the Rajshahi Board stands at 59.40 percent this year, with 10,137 candidates achieving GPA-5.
