Tarique Rahman Congratulates Nabila Nur on HSC Achievement

Narayanganj: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his congratulations to Nabila Nur, the daughter of Nur Hossain Hiru, who was subjected to enforced disappearance from Chauddagram in Cumilla in 2011, for her success in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nabila Nur achieved remarkable results in the HSC exams conducted earlier this year. Following her achievement, Tarique Rahman conveyed his greetings to her.



Acting on the directive of Tarique Rahman, Atikur Rahman Rummon, Convener of ‘Amra BNP Poribar’ and a member of the BNP Media Cell, facilitated the delivery of the congratulatory message. A delegation from ‘Amra BNP Poribar’ was dispatched to Nabila Nur’s home in the Signboard area of Narayanganj district to convey the message.



The delegation included Agriculturist Mokhsedul Momin Mithun, Member-Secretary of ‘Amra BNP Poribar’, and Zahidul Islam Roni, Member of the Managing Committee of the National Press Club. The message from Tarique Rahman, accompanied by a special gift, was presented to Nabila Nur yesterday evening.



Nur Hossain Hiru, originally from Chauddagram in Cumilla, was reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance on June 20, 2011. At the time, he was serving as the Organizing Secretary of the Greater Uttara Thana unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
