Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, are likely to occur at one or two places over the Barishal and Chattogram divisions over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD issued a bulletin this morning stating, “Light to moderate rain/thunder showers is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions.” The forecast also suggests that the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies in other regions of the country.
The Met Office further indicated that there might be a slight drop in daytime temperatures in the Barishal and Chattogram divisions, while temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged in other parts of the country. Night temperatures are predicted to remain stable across the nation.
On Thursday, Netrokona recorded the highest temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius. In contrast, the lowest temperature was recorded today at 21.4 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. In Dhaka, residents can expect the sun to set at 5:31 pm today and rise again at 5:57 am tomorrow.
