Kamal Uddin Transferred to Religious Affairs Secretary Role

Dhaka: Md Kamal Uddin, who previously held the position of Secretary at the Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) under the Planning Ministry, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Religious Affairs as Secretary.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Public Administration Ministry issued separate circulars detailing the transfer of Kamal Uddin along with two other secretaries to new assignments.

The circular specifies that Siddiq Jubair, a contractual senior secretary at the Public Administration Ministry, has been appointed to the National Academy of Planning and Development (NAPD) as its Director General, maintaining his status as a senior secretary. Additionally, Sirajur Nur Chowdhury, who was serving as the Director General of the NAPD, has been reassigned to the IMED as its secretary. The circular emphasizes that these orders have been made in the public interest and are effective immediately.
