Freedom Fighter Molla Khabir Uddin Passes Away at 88

Narail: Former general secretary of Narail District BNP and former president of the district bar association, valiant Freedom Fighter Advocate Molla Khabir Uddin, passed away at his home in Mahishkhola of the district town on Friday afternoon. He was 88.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Molla Khabir Uddin had been suffering from old age-related illnesses. He leaves behind five sons, one daughter, grandchildren, and numerous well-wishers who mourn his passing. A guard of honour was held at the Narail Central Eidgah Maidan following the namaz-e-janaza at 2 pm on Saturday.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sanchita Bishwas paid tribute to the coffin of the deceased, and he was laid to rest at the Narail Municipal Graveyard. Several notable figures, including District BNP President Bishwas Jahangir Alam, General Secretary Md Monirul Islam, Ziaur Rahman Foundation Chief Advisor Dr Ahmed Shafiqul Haider Parvez, BNP and Zia Parishad leader Professor B.M. Nagib Hossain, Sadar Upazila BNP President Bir Muktijoddha Mustafizur Rahman Alek, General Secretary Mozahidur Rahman Palash, and District Bar Association President Advocate Tariquzzaman Litu, expressed deep sorrow and extended their condolences to Molla Khabir Uddin's bereaved family.
