Chattogram: A man lost his life in a train accident on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar railway line near Ward No-4 of Kanchanabad union under Chandanaish upazila. The accident took place this morning, claiming the life of Nayan, 28, who was a resident of Ward No-6 under Khorna union in Patia upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tragic incident occurred around 6 am when the Cox's Bazar Express train ran over the man, resulting in his immediate death at the scene. Dohazari Railway Station Master Iqbal Hossain confirmed the incident, stating, "A young man died after being run over by a train."
Chandanaish Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Sarwar mentioned that a police team was dispatched to the location and recovered the body. The authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
