Dhaka: Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk-e-Azam stated that the voting process of the upcoming election will be inclusive and transparent to meet the expectations of the people. He emphasized the significance of unity in celebrating Durga Puja, advising caution against rumors and encouraging a peaceful and respectful observance of the religious festival with families.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser made these remarks during visits to various Puja mandaps in Mirsarai upazila. Faruk-e-Azam expressed confidence in the democratic process, asserting that a government elected by the people will be formed through fair elections.
During the visit, he encouraged community members to actively participate in the electoral process and uphold democratic values. Mirsarai Upazila Nirbahi Officer Somaiya Akhter and Upazila Assistant Commissioner Alauddin Quader, among others, were present at the event.
