Tangail: A motorcyclist lost his life and another individual sustained injuries when a bus collided with their motorcycle near Chatipara Bridge in Kalihati upazila. The incident occurred today, leaving the local community in shock.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased has been identified as Anik, a 20-year-old resident of Chhota Binyafair village in Tangail Sadar upazila. The tragic accident happened in the morning when a bus, approaching from behind, struck their motorcycle. Anik, who was riding the bike, was killed instantly, while the pillion passenger, Abir, aged 15, was injured.
Mahbub Hossain, a sub-inspector of Elenga Highway Police, provided details on the incident. Following the crash, the injured passenger was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
