New york: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today attended a high-level event titled “Human Rights for Everyone, Everywhere – Core of our Shared Humanity.” The UN rights body OHCHR organised the event on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly here in the USA on Thursday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event aimed to discuss and promote the universal principles of human rights. The gathering brought together numerous global leaders and experts to deliberate on strategies to enhance human rights protections worldwide. Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring that human rights are upheld for all individuals, irrespective of their backgrounds.
