Belgium Queen and Former British PM Engage with Bangladesh Chief Adviser in New York

New york: Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium met Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on the sidelines of an event at the UN headquarters here today. Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown also called on Prof Yunus, alongside a meeting with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, who also engaged in discussions with the Bangladesh Chief Adviser at the UN headquarters.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof Yunus arrived in New York to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Chief Adviser and his entourage were on a commercial Emirates flight that landed at the John F Kennedy International Airport, New York, at 3:00 pm local time.
