Pesticide and Sewing Machines Distributed to Aid Jhenaidah Residents

Jhenaidah: A total of 15 sewing machines and 20 pesticide spray machines were distributed among poor women and marginal farmers under the Development Assistance Project (PBG) in Sadhuhati union of Sadar upazila today. The distribution ceremony took place at the Sadhuhati Union Parishad premises around 1 pm.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sadhuhati Union Parishad Chairman Kazi Nazir Uddin led the distribution of the equipment, providing 15 sewing machines to poor women and 20 pesticide spray machines to marginal farmers. This initiative aims to support local residents by equipping them with necessary tools for their livelihoods.



Union Parishad Secretary Ramzan Ali, along with UP members Manshad Ali, Mohammad Ali, Anarul Islam, Shafiqul Islam, Nazir Uddin, Matiar Rahman Malita, and other local representatives, attended the ceremony. The event underscores the collaborative effort to uplift the community by providing resources that enhance income-generating activities for women and improve agricultural practices for farmers in the region.
