Partial Solar Eclipse to Occur on Sunday

Dhaka: A partial solar eclipse is set to occur on Sunday.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this astronomical event will not be visible in Bangladesh, as confirmed by an ISPR release. The regions where the eclipse will be visible include New Zealand, eastern Melanesia, southern Polynesia, and western Antarctica.

The eclipse is expected to last for a duration of 4 hours and 24 minutes. It will commence at 11:29 pm on September 21 and conclude at 3:53 am on September 22. The moment of greatest eclipse will be reached at 1:41 am on September 22.
