Satkhira: The Superintendent of Police (SP) of the district, Mohammad Monirul Islam, has announced a Taka 10,000 reward for anyone providing information about the activities of Sundarbans pirates operating within the Satkhira Range. The announcement was made during a beat policing meeting at Gabura Union Parishad.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting, where Monirul Islam served as the chief guest, included discussions on various law enforcement strategies. Besides the reward announcement, Monirul Islam emphasized the implementation of strict measures against online gambling activities in the region.
Monirul Islam also addressed educational concerns, instructing the preparation of lists to identify teachers who fail to attend school and students who are absent from educational institutions.
