Dhaka: The Afghanistan Under-19 team is set to visit Bangladesh in October for a bilateral series, comprising five youth ODIs. The series aims to help both teams prepare for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tour schedule is yet to be released, but the series will run from October 25 to November 10. The Afghan youngsters will also play a warm-up game ahead of the five-match series.
Bangladesh U19 players are currently resting after their England tour, where they drew the five-match youth ODI series 1-1. Only two matches were played while the rest were washed out due to rain. Prior to the series against England, Bangladesh also played a match against Ireland, which was abandoned due to persistent rain.
