Dhaka: Sonali Bank PLC has formalized a partnership with the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) to facilitate the collection of various fees and charges. This collaboration will enable the collection of irrigation charges, fertilizer and seed sales, and the renewal fees for contractor or dealer licenses through the Sonali Payment Gateway.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the agreement was signed during a ceremony at the Sonali Bank’s head office conference room. Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank, and Sourendra Nath Saha, Member Director (Finance) of BADC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Present at the event were Sonali Bank’s General Manager Aklima Islam, Deputy General Manager Md. Aminur Rahman Khan, BADC Secretary Md. Aminul Islam, Controller of Accounts Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, and other relevant officials. The agreement is expected to streamline the payment processes for BADC-related transactions, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for stakeholders.
