Dhaka: The final results of the 48th (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations have been released, marking a significant step for thousands of aspiring public service professionals. A total of 2,820 candidates have been nominated for the position of Assistant Surgeon, while an additional 300 candidates have been selected for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon, as confirmed by the Public Service Commission (PSC).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the announcement was made via a press release issued by the PSC on Thursday. The results come after a rigorous selection process that included a written examination, which was conducted on July 18, 2025. The results of this examination were published on July 20, 2025.
A total of 5,206 candidates successfully passed the written examination. Out of these, 4,695 candidates qualified for the BCS (Health) Assistant Surgeon position, and 511 candidates were selected for the BCS (Health) Assistant Dental Surgeon position. The announcement of these results marks the culmination of an extensive evaluation process aimed at selecting qualified professionals to serve in the health sector.
