Dhaka: The Armed Forces have issued a call for applications from officers who claim to have faced discrimination over the past 16 years. This initiative aims to address grievances from personnel who may have experienced unfair treatment within the military ranks.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) released a statement on Thursday night outlining the process for affected officers. The statement requests that officers who have encountered discrimination in the Armed Forces from 2009 to August 4, 2024, submit their original applications to the Chairman of the Committee at the Armed Forces Division. The deadline for submission is set for September 21, 2025.
This move indicates an effort by the Armed Forces to address potential issues of discrimination within their ranks, providing a formal channel for officers to have their grievances heard and reviewed.
