Sylhet: The 'Olympic Solidarity Sport Administrators Course' has successfully concluded at the divisional sports complex in Sylhet, as announced in a press release by the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of twenty-five trainees, including trainers, organizers, and sports teachers from various schools, colleges, and sports associations within the Sylhet division, participated in this four-day course. The event was conducted under the supervision of the Bangladesh Olympic Association and managed by the Divisional Sports Association, Sylhet, with support from the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Solidarity.
The course provided comprehensive training on the responsibilities and duties related to sports management, focusing on enhancing the participants' skills in managing sports activities. It also emphasized the importance of the Olympic Movement and the values associated with Olympism.
Khan Md. Reza-un-Nabi, the Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet Division and Convener of the Ad Hoc committee of Sylhet Divisional Sports Association, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He distributed certificates to the participants, acknowledging their successful completion of the course. The event was also attended by members, officials, and other dignitaries from the Sylhet Divisional Sports Association.
