Dinajpur: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two alleged drug dealers with 20 kg of ganja and a truck from Mohanpur village under Kotwali Police Station of Dinajpur district on Tuesday night. The detainees were identified as Md Swapan, 33, from Purnomoti village under Burichong upazila, and Md Badal, 29, from Satmora village under Muradnagar upazila, both hailing from the Cumilla district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, an operational team of RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company-1 from Dinajpur Camp conducted a raid in the Mohanpur Bridge area. Acting on a tip-off, the team successfully arrested the duo with the contraband ganja and their truck at 12:45 pm.
The RAB press release stated that the elite force handed over the arrested individuals along with the seized ganja and truck to Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station for further legal proceedings.
