Bangladesh Archery Team Prepares for 2025 World Archery Championship in Korea

Gwangju: Bangladesh archery team will participate in the 2025 World Archery Championship scheduled to be held in Gwangju, the city of Korea, from September 5-12. Bangladesh archery team will start their tournament campaign with compound qualification to be held on Saturday (Sept 6).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, an 11-member Bangladesh archery team departed for Korea on Wednesday night to take part in the championship. The team includes archers such as Abdur Rahman Alif, Ramkrishno Saha, and Md Rakib Mia in the recurve men's category, while Shima Akter Shimu, Banna Akter, Puspita Jaman, and Mst Kulchum Akter will represent the recurve women's category. Himu Bachar will compete in the compound men's category.

The team is accompanied by officials AKM Shohiduzzaman as the team manager, with Martin Frederic and Noore Alam serving as trainers.
